Accessing Hive Tax AI – CPA FAQs

  • What is Hive Tax AI?
    • Hive Tax AI is a collection of AI Tools designed for CPA Firms and Tax Practitioners to help maximize your productivity and provide support to your clients. 

  • What services does Hive Tax AI offer for me and my clients?
    • The Hive Tax AI Tools include the AI Customer Support Assistant and the AI Financial Planner Assistant. The AI Customer provides clients access to a support chatbot that conducts new client interviews and onboarding, answers client tax questions, and provides tax advice 24/7 using the most up-to-date Federal and State tax codes. The AI Financial Planner Assistant does the leg work by generating personalized planning reports from your client’s information. All you need to do is to review the report and present it to your clients.

  • How do I sign up for Hive Tax AI?

  • How do I reset my password?
    • You can reset your account password by sending an email to support@hivetatech.com and requesting a password reset.

  • How does my client sign-up for Hive Tax AI?
    • When you are logged into your account you can invite your clients to either of the tax AI tools by selecting Clients from the sidebar menu, then select either the Invite Client for Financial Planning Tool or Invite Client for Client Support Tool and fill out your clients information to invite them to the selected tool. 

  • How much does Hive Tax AI cost?
    • For the AI Customer Support Assistant the cost is currently $1 per active user per month during the beta period. The AI Financial Planner costs are generated when the CPA views the report that is generated by the responses given to the AI Financial Planner Assistant by the client. 

  • Is my client charged for using Hive Tax AI Assistant?
    • Your client will not be charged by Hive Tax AI for access to the Assistant. 

  • How can I change my firms profile picture?
    • To change your firms profile picture select Firm Settings from the sidebar menu, then Firm Information from the right-side menu, Edit Firm Information, and select Upload and select your image. 

  • Where can I find my list of clients?
    • You can view a list of your clients by selecting Clients from the sidebar menu.

  • How can I filter my Clients page to show specific clients?
    • Yes, from the top of the Clients page you can filter down your clients by their current status, which AI tool they have been given access to, and when their account was created. You can also search for a specific client name by utilizing the Search by Client Name search box at the top right of the page. 

  • Why can I not see my client on the Clients page?
    • If you can not see your clients on the Clients page you may not have invited them yet to a specific tool which you can do using the Invite Client buttons at the top right of the page. Otherwise you may have filters selected that causes them to not be shown, you can clear these by selecting the Clear All Filters button to the right near the top right of the Clients page.  

  • Is Hive AI Tax Assistant available in my State?
    • Hive Tax AI is available in all 50 US states. 

  • Is Hive AI Tax Assistant available in my Country?
    • Hive Tax AI is currently available in the United States.
